How to Draw Cute Pets is a screen-free drawing book for children, designed to teach step-by-step illustration through simple, approachable exercises.
The project was handled end to end — from concept and structure to illustration, layout, and final production for Amazon KDP. The focus was on clarity, consistency, and making the content easy to follow for young users without adult assistance.
Challenge
The main design challenge was creating a system that stays consistent across more than 150 pages while remaining engaging for children.
Clear visual hierarchy, predictable layouts, and repetition were used to reduce cognitive load and help users focus on the drawing process rather than navigation or instructions.
